Well somebody needs to shout it to the mountain tops for all of college football to see the unfairness of the schedules in the SEC. Alabama for 2 solid years has gotten credit for playing a "tough SEC schedule" when in reality they played darn near the weakest possible SEC schedule. They were chosen over Okie St because of who they lost to, not because of who they beat, because they didn't beat many good schools in last year's regular season. They were ranked ahead of the Florida Gators for 3 straight weeks even though they both had the same record and Florida had played 4 top 10 opponents to Alabama's 2.
If you don't fight back, nothing will ever change. We'll keep having to play a tougher SEC schedule than Alabama, and we'll wind up in the Chick Fila Bowl despite our #7 ranking and 10-2 record.

The fact that Bama is going to win 3 straight NC's because of easy schedules while we had one of the hardest in the country again and again (while in the same division) is why we're whiny.

I sure would rather have played SEC east schools BCS ranked at #54 and #59 than #3 and #10.
And next yr it will be much the same.
Asking the why of such one sided scheduling within the same conference when trying to compete for conference and national honors with a team getting that kinda advantage doesn't seem to be whining, but a legit question/concern.
Other than that, you are right. We whine more than any nagging wife I have ever known.
