its really not when you find the explanation. they were trying to make it even amongst all teams. bama has played usc and uga more and we have played kentucky more. that is why they did it to even out those games. it will all start over in 2014

meh. the only legitimate gripe is that there isn't balance of perma rivals. However, I am in the "to be the best, you have to beat the best" camp. If we can't beat UF year in and year out, then are we the best team in the nation, deserving of a chance to play for the title?

Tune into Finebaum any day of the week and I think you will see thinks differently.

The Gumps are not only the most illiterate and hardest to understand on the radio (i.e. stop screaming and move the phone at least an inch away from your mouth), they are, by great measure, the whiniest fans on the planet.

It's damn embarrassing bee-rye. Some numb-nuts wants to form a committee to help leave The SEC for the greener pastures of The Big VII.

To be the best u have to beat the best doesnt mean bama should always have an easier schedule. It is doubly bs when you consider bama got a mulligan last year.

beat Bama, and it shouldn't matter

the way the system is set up resulted in them getting a mulligan. had nothing to do with the SEC scheduling, or any other conspiracy by the SEC office and ESPN, its just the way the cards fell

THERE IS NO CONSPIRACY IN REGARDS TO SCHEDULING AND OFFICIATING!!!!

I'm not sold on the officiating, but the 2012 and 2013 schedules are blatantly stacked in Bama's favor, and the SEC admitted that there was no past nor future schedule considerations taken.

Things didn't fall our way this bowl season, it happens. It has happened to EVERY TEAM IN THE SEC at some point, even Bama.

Link??? When did Bama get screwed out of a better bowl slot? I can give you about 5 instances of LSU being slotted below their actual SEC finish since 1995.

I feel fine with it if thats the way things happen to work out. we obviously were the 2nd best team in the nation last year, regardless of how fair we percieved the system to be

No the system is not set up to give bama a mulligan. All things being equal OSU would have got the nod. Bama flexed its muscle and made the media machine put them in the game. Its obvious.

Guaran damn tee you that LSU wouldn't have gotten the 2nd chance.......But my point is that sometimes beating them isn't enough.

It's not whining when precedence has been set. Bama seems to get the red carpet treatment by the SEC.

so the SEC and Slive got them a rematch? not the voters and computers that make up the BCS? Slive is more powerful than I thought
