LSU athletics uses no taxpayer funds.
Blah blah blah....
Thanks in large part to Alabama. If it weren't for Saban winning all those national championships, LSU and the rest of the SEC wouldn't be each getting upwards of $20M per year from TV rights. LSU would be just like every other university in the state as far as athletic fund goes.
So yeah, lets talk of millions of dollars LSU is sucking out of the education dollars statewide. Talk about a drain.

Not trolling here guys. I didn’t go to either school so this is coming from an outsider’s perspective.
I understand LSU’s past success but that’s what it is, it’s in the past.
It looks like the Cajuns are the new standard that other Louisiana baseball programs are going to have to try and match.
Hopefully LSU can get back to their winning ways. It’ll make these games a lot more interesting

Who was the national runner up last year? When is the last time ULL even made it to omaha? ULL may be on the same level as us once every few years when we have a down year like this year. Buts it's not even close when it comes to our two programs

USL has no past...or future. Thanks for playin' though.

It's clear Loyola-Chicago has a better basketball program than either Kentucky or Duke. Time to fire Calipari and Coach K?
This is a great post.
Just because Will Wade and LSU-BR beat Louisiana in 1 basketball game this season doesn’t mean they’re the better team.

No college or university in Louisiana can improve its marketablilty or image
yeah because you can’t be marketable with a City attached to your name.
signed, UCLA
and you can’t be marketable with a direction in your name either.
signed Southern Cal
LSU fans laugh at you because the name ain’t the reason you’re shitty.
And simply changing the name won’t make you any more than you are.
a small directional school in a state that doesn’t have the population or the money to justify so many small directional schools.

Either you are trolling, ignorant or a ULL fan. Now that I think about it I'm not sure the last 2 choices are different.
