Money is the biggest reason....it was either the trip to Washington or season tickets...rather see all the games in Tiger Stadium first hand than one away game that will be on TV anyway.

I applaude LSU for playing a road game against a BCS team,albeit a poor one, that co-incidentally is in a wonderful town. 10 yrs ago I would have done it without hesitation,but ye ol finances ain't what they used to be. Two cars with over 100k miles and a daughter two yrs from college isn't the time to for me to drop a nice chunk of change on this one. Wish I could.

A bunch of pre-teen girls told me there are a bunch of vampires and werewolves running around in Washington, so I'm afraid to go. Apparently it's gotten so bad that they made a movie.

About 11,000 miles and I want to come after the 3-4th game for 2-3 games. Although, I am thinking about coming in to Louisiana for a couple of days and head to Washington, then see a couple games after. That way I will miss some of the better games.
I can cook a gumbo and invite a few friends and take in the game in Abu Dhabi on the LCD with local cable ESPN or my Slingbox.
