There's a much stronger field than last year. Last year there were three 2-loss conference champions that all got left out. This year there could be only one 2-loss champion in LSU. The debate will then be which 1-loss champion gets left out and/or does LSU get left out in favor of runner-up Georgia.

I think LSU gets in and Georgia gets left out in that scenario. Georgia needs help if they lose the SECCG. They'll be behind possibly two undefeated champions, potentially, two 1-loss champions, and LSU.

If two of USC, TCU, and Clemson drop a game along the way, then Georgia can backdoor in if they lose.
