jtt, Robertson is injured & out for several wks apparently.And batting in the .200's before being hurt. Byrd is batting .169'ish. CPM made a conscious decision to play Foster at 2nd after watching Robertson fail at the opportunity he was given and having no other option. My take is that Foster has lost his aggressiveness & is constantly getting behind 0-2 in the count wayyy too often. And he's not the only one in a mini slump. It's called baseball & over the course of 40+ games, slumps happen. Bregman, for the most part, was in a "slump", for him, last season.

I agree --- he takes way too many pitches early-- gets behind in the count--
then swings at dirt balls--- not a good 2 strike hitter. He needs to be aggressive
earlier in the count. JMHO

Batting average with men in scoring position has to be well below .200. Anyone have that statistic?
