If JD is really the #5 QB on the board, he is 100% leaving. Nuss starts next year and possibly the following. Howard will have 2-3 years as a starter.

Howard won’t sit for 2 more years.

Howard should bail. If he’s a better prospect than JD was, he’ll start elsewhere.

Tired of you f’ers getting your panties in a bunch because talent wants to play now.

One redshirted but I think was under the impression he would get his full allotment of game time development per the NCAA policy, which I think is he can play in 4 games (not totally sure on that). How much developmental time did he get? A few plays? Not saying anyone is transferring, just saying I know for a fact one is pissed, voiced his concerns to the coaching staff.

WTF would he be mad at? We had literally 3 opponents that were FCS to group of 5. Walker was 3rd string with the guy ahead of him needing experience also. None of the games dictated getting to 3rd string reps. I wouldnt have thought Walker was a diva but if what you say is true, here we are.

He is definitely not a diva. He has sat behind QB’s before and worked to earn his spot. There is a reason Eli Holstein left STM. I think just like anyone else that is a competitor and very good at his sport/profession they just want to compete and show what they can do. Does what Walker did in high school translate to the college level… who knows? If it does then we have one of the top QB’s at 3rd string. Pretty sweet for tiger fans, but not for 5* QB’s these days. Where was this problem in the 2011 timeframe?

I don’t see Nuss and Jayden both returning for 2023. One of them is leaving after or before spring. My guess is Walker is backup QB competing for a starting spot.

Nuss has shown zero development in poise, hurls balls into coverage hoping to make a play, and he opted out last bowl season so he could transfer later on if needed.

Walker is the future, I’d be fine with Jayden going pro and Nuss transferring, bring in a portal Qb to compete with Walker if JD and GN are both gone by next fall camp.
