The LSU Alumni Association cancelled the trip this summer because not enough people wanted to make the trip. Auburn is full.

I went in 2008 and I'm going again! Ready to T Bag some Gator Bitchez! They can all suck it!!! I'm gonna Be the a-hole with white boots and Jortz with Budwiser, who's ready to walk a mud whole thru some gator arse. Just sayn

I won't go because all my friends who have gone said it's the worst place to tailgate or be an opposing team fan in the SEC...

I have been to the Swamp 3 times but last time I went to The Swamp will be my last. If you have any kind of pride as a man you will probably get in a fight. Those fans just push you to the limit with the cr@p they do. All fan bases have ahole but most also have fans that are fun to hangout with not Florida. Never met a gator fan that wasn't a fricking tool. I guess they have some but I have never met one.

yeah the gainesville trip is fun especially if you go out downtown or midtown the night before and hit up the swamp on univ blvd during the day(fml I got drunk there too many times) Lsu fans usually take over univ blvd during the day and all of sudden florida fans show up 2.5 hours before gametime.

I had 4 tickets I can't use and put them on DD yesterday and could have sold them 8 times over!!!! I think we will have a good group cheering on our team!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

yeah we take over gator city every year it seems. LSU fans get there and full it up (fire code or whatever) and UF fans are left waiting n line all night or have to go somewhere else.
cops and opposing fans are assholes tho. as much shite we here about coming to BR, at least we are hospitible. we invite visitors to our tailgate every week, after they're tigerbaited of course.

Guess it just depends on where you go b/c I have been to Gainesville twice and had absolutely no problem both times. I went out to the bars the Fri night before games and had intelligent conversations with their fans about the games. Gamedays were fine as well. Like you said all fanbases have some major dickheads so you I know it can be hit or miss.

an alum was interviewed for the radio today and sayd the trip was called off before the season because most of the alum don't like going to gainsville .but they are all ready for the auburn trip

As you can see by my screen name I live in Tampa. I have made the drive up to Gainesville too many times to remember. As for the behavior of the fans, there are certainly a**holes justlike there are in Oxford, Tuscaloosa, Little Rock and JUST like in Baton Rouge. I brought some UF friends to the game last year and had to appologize for a dip spit cup thrown on the windshield of my truck because I have a Florida tag. Never mind I had 2 LSU flags and 2 Tiger magnets also. I had to appologize for a drunk 16? year old yelling at my friends wife about how her "c*nt smells like lizard sh*t. So those of you not going back to Gainesville or Athens or any other SEC town because of fan behavior should start self policing around Tiger Stadium. Oh and the thing about no tailgating is BS. Great places to gate you just can't walk around with your drinks.

I was planning on going to Gainesville next year. Do they just talk a lot of smack or is it over the top? I can take some ribbing but I can get upset if it is nonstop and crosses the line.
