I think you could count the blitzes this year on your hands...

From the linebackers yes. I dont know why he tried so many corner back blitzes with how bad and young or db's were.

Miles signed the #1 player in the Nation & is currently trying to fix the Defensive problems. Why does that seem to be the opposite of what you are babbling?

Signing the #1 player in the nation - did not know Reuben Randle sent in his papers - is not opposite to what I stated (you call it babbling), but rather unrelated.

Fixing the carnage left behind Mallory and Peveto - this year will come in the form of a new D coordinator, LB coach and secondary coach; last year it came in the form of a new special teams coach - is related to what I stated.

There is no excuse for the total lack of pressure we got on QB's this year.

Scheme! RJF and Alem have spoken up about the scheme this year.

Its amazing the damage these 2 clowns have caused in one year. We went from being competitive against top teams to getting blown the frick out all in one season.

Really don't care who Rivals.com - the Gumps, think is the top recruit in the Nation. Let's see, LSU has QB problems, so Miles signs the top QB, yet it's "Unrelated"?

Who's #1?

Which I posted was happening, yet you apparently missed. Well, at least you get a C+ for Drama, using "Carnage" to describe the #36 Defense in the nation. Wow..to think 83 teams envy LSU's Defense.

LSU: 27 sacks
The "Defensive guru's" team: 23 sacks

Plus they played 1 more game than LSU.

Can't remember the game but watching JL rolling to the right with the first down just 5 yards away and wide open for him to take it with his feet then he does some Tebowish jump pass to KW but throws it over his head out of bounds.

Did the kid ever run the ball -- even once?

That was the Bama game. Was in the south endzone right behind him. He looked completely lost.

Professor Sammich,

If Miles is going to get credit for signing Shepard he should also get credit for having 6 kickers or punters on the team, 4 of which I believe are on scholarship.

You feel comfortable with Miles behind the wheel, and I do not. Of the head coaches hired by Bertman, the only one that I believe is at risk of being offered a coaching job elsewhere is Mainieri. We agree to disagree.

You have a problem with using 4 scholarships on LSU's kicking game? Seems your grasping. Anyway, after Colt David & Brady Dalfry play their last game in the Peach Bowl, how many kickers on scholarship? I got Jasper & Helton (2009 signee).

I hope you're right. Miles overall record speaks for itself.

But it is true. Regardless, changes will be made & I think Miles will get the right people in there. Remember when The Rant thought Miles was looking at a Big 10 type Offensive Coordinators? Gary Crowton was a Warren Morris 9th inning style Homerun IMO.
