2003 - LSU - Georgia - LSU chant
2007 - LSU - FLA - when they announced that USC lost. The stadium went crazy, cause that meant that if LSU won then we would be the sole #1.

My ears were hurting from the crowd noise during the 07 Florida game. It was the perfect storm for crowd noise:
1. #2 vs #9
2. Playing the defending champs
3. The buzz of USC losing
4. Facing the Heisman frontrunner
5. College Gameday
6. Keeping the undefeated season alive
Florida was the better team that day and would have won on a neutral field. I have no doubt that the energy in Tiger Stadium that night partially willed the team to victory. That game epitomizes what Tiger Stadium, SEC football, and the LSU Tigers are all about. It is the most memorable sporting event of my life. I still get goosebumps thinking about that team and game.

Single moment was the Hodson to Fuller TD pass against Auburn

Tenn 2000 was the first big game I ever went to and I will never ever forgot how loud it was in OT. Pure Insanity.
Auburn 05 game was extremely loud when he missed that field goal.

I'll be damned. You are correct. I had to google it on You Tube. Guess the mind does fade after 20 years...

Earthquake Game - single moment
It was like 60 seconds of pandemonium that followed the loudest crowd explosion of cheering I've ever heard in a football game. It was absolutely crazy! I think every single person in the stadium jumped up and yelled loud all at one time.
Closest thing I've heard since was my house when Porter ran that int in at the Superbowl.

A very close second would have to be LSU vs UT 2000

nobody has the correct answer yet ... loudest moment in TS since the earthquake game is :
TN 2000 in overtime ....I've been to all of them, and that has been the loudest....no doubt about it
Not louder than 2003 UGA game. Was at both of them, also have to throw in UF game in '07. Was outside the stadium watching the game at a tailgate and the crowd noise from the stadium was crazy loud!

Florida 07-when they announced USC lost to Stanford
this I've been to every significant game since 97 and they all have their extremely loud games or moments but USC being announced they lost was the single loudest moment I've ever heard. Gave me goosebumps.

Kentucky '77. I was 10 and spilled my coke on my mom. Very loud.

Florida 07' gets the nod for me. That place erupted like I have never heard before. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. The most impressive thing of that whole situation is that Florida went straight down the field and scored with ease after that.

1982 - LSU 55 FSU 21. Winner goes to the Orane Bowl and lose to the gator Bowl. Out of about 100
games i've seen play there this game (when the fog rolled in and it rained oranges) was undoubtedly the loudest. My first game in Tiger Stadium was LSU vs MSU 1973.

don't understand how people can say the earthquake game. Tiger Stadium holds tens of thousands more people now than it did then. You can not convince me that some of these moments in the 2000's, like Georgia 03, Auburn 05/07, and Bama 08 were not "louder moments". Everyone in the stadium was on their feet yelling at the top of their lungs. Are you saying that the type of fan in the old days was just louder when they screamed? Makes no sense.
You would have had to been there...yes, it was louder. FYI...the crowd is different today compared to back them...still many rabbid fans there today, but due to commercialization, there are a lot of "spectator" type fans as well. Back then it was all hard-core lsu. Unless you were there, you wouldn't understand...no offense.
