What's the "expected" field goal range in CF?

At least what is ours? I'm was going to ask this before the game and it seems even more relevant now. I'm holding my breath at anything beyond 35. I remember Colt David could go efficiently from 45 (no pun intended)

Side note, very proud of our players yesterday. Record doesn't show it, but people know we are better than Bama. The coaches might not have it, but the players have their respect back.

I would think under 45 should be automatic. And I had confidence in him until last night. I wonder if the fake got him shook up for some reason.

Maybe we should have given Mo a shot.

I was a D1 kicker. The biggest expectation is to execute properly. The coaches know the kickers sweet spot and make calls accordingly. You probably say that the 35yd range is most kickers best and everyone "expects" every kick to go through the uprights. A kick is always a gamble... from extra point line to 55yds.

Just look at ND yesterday, they missed an extra point. Game would have ended in regulation if it was made.

Alleman needs to sit for a while.

He missed a long FG in which he slipped but he hasn't consistently made the short ones.

It's his only job. He needs to hit those.

I don't expect 60 yarders but I do expect better than what he has done.

I just looked, I did not know we carry four PK on the roster. Someone else needs to be given a shot or some game experience as Drew is a Senior. But given he is a Senior, Les will probably not sit him.
