I'm betting the coaching staff has not forgotten about those two fumbles he had in practice in the spring of 2007.

yeah, I've figured that out from this site over the years.

now it's: Jarrett Lee bashing = wrong

any other player bashing = ok

He told me that he will apply for a medical redshirt this year. It is indeed a torn ACL and he is out for the upcoming season as major surgery is required.

In the article in today's paper, Miles said Ridely should be back for fall camp. Is there a chance that he can rehab without surgery, or is this just another example of Miles' attempting to downplay a player's injury status?

missing out on trent richardson could be worse than we originally thought...

Let's not forget about long-time commit Dexter Pratt, who was a midterm HS grad and ON CAMPUS before leaving (for whatever reasons, and I've heard most of them). He would have given us some cushion at RB, given his talents and his opportunity to go through spring practice. I was really excited about Pratt, and I hope we've learned from whatever frickup took place with this guy. His loss actually bothers me more than the JJ ordeal.

RBs don't ever need to take a 6th year imho. Their lifespanes are too short. Especially if they play their entire 4th and 5th years(which is what we all hope Ridley does, obviously). So, if Ridley can make it back by October/November, he should go ahead and play.
