Can we walk around drinking out of bottles of liquor, beer cans, etc. And is there anything we should avoid doing in particular that we wouldn't have to worry about in BR on game day (to avoid getting messed with by tuscaloosa's finest)?

Open container if you are a Gump. Otherwise, you are probably screwed.

This is what makes me love Louisiana. The only place in the country, and possibly the civilized world, where someone would even think to ask this question.

In 09' I found that if you don't frick with them, they don't frick with you.

I imagine the atmosphere will be like Mardi Gras in that the cops simply don't have the time to stop any crimes that aren't assault/murder/rape. Too many fricking people.

State Fetal Alcohol Syndrome prevalence argues against any such animal.

There are open container laws in Alabama, but I doubt you'll be messed with if you have your booze in a cup or if you have a hugger around your bottle or can. I've certainly never witnessed problems.

Now - If you're drinking straight from the bottle...it probably won't be the bottle you're drinking from but rather the fact your bare-arse naked standing on their car screaming obscenities.
