Boy seems LSU baseball really puts the pressure on some of these highly touted kids. Some just can’t handle it

Move him to 9th. Don't talk to him and give him autonomy at the plate.

Maybe it's just a slump.

Or maybe he's pressing a bit and feeling the heat of not having a guaranteed spot every day. Either way he will have to figure it out, or the opportunities will be less and less.

I also think Arambede needs to take some time to adjust defensively to catching college pitching. Can't give up on a kid like that, but also can't have him out there in big games at this point. I'd like to see Preister get a start behind the plate tonight just to see. Hernandez is our guy though.

Agreed on Priester needing a shot. Hernandez almost looked pissed having to come in last night with the way he swung the bat. Cant have him play in 5 games a week

I know of the potential with Arrambide and thats why he plays, but there is absolutely zero chance Priester is a worse receiver than what we saw last night from Arrambide. Dude has barely played at all this year, give him a shot tonight. Worse case you have to flip in Hernandez again.

Sure glad we have so many experts in hitting on this site. I’m sure coach will be in contact for your invaluable contributions.

Larson has a good swing and hit SEC pitching last year. He’s in a slump and he will eventually get out of it. It happens.
