What's all the talk about Trask being good?

This may be met with some hate, but I feel like people are spouting that Trask was good against LSU and that's not true.
Trask was very serviceable in a hostile environment. He handled the pressure of DV and played WAY above my expectations. But this was his stat line:
23/39 - 310 - 3/1 TD/INT
That's a 59% completion percentage. Not even 8 yards per attempt. More than one of his incompletions were passes that could have ended their drives (The Delpit drop, and the goalline throw that was tipped in the air when Delpit was out a play).
Kid played his heart out, but Mullen's ability to take advantage of our conservative defense in the 1st half is why UF had so much success. That coupled with their WRs catching anything and everything.
He played better than anyone expected. But all this talk about him being a good QB is making me feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Trask made some throws last night that not too many college QBs can make. He was very good last night.

Flat out, he should have had a couple more INTs, but still, he played his arse off and made some HUGE NFL type throws. I think that's what people noticed, he wasn't just taking the easy throws, he was throwing downfield OFTEN and completing them. He was taking big time hits and still getting the ball out, not just taking the sack.
Timing routes, corner routes, etc...He made Stingley look straight up BAD that 1 drive and that's hard to do. Stingley had good coverage almost all night, on that 1 TD drive Stingley was targeted 4 times and gave up 4 catches for 51 yards and a TD. Most of the time the only way you're going to beat Stingley is on timing throws and perfect passes because he is GLUED to a receiver running routes.

He’s a backup thrust into action and he’s doing well. No one’s saying he heisman but those are pretty good stats even for a veteran starter.

This is just not true. Joe Burrow was very good.
He was an adequate QB for what Mullen was attempting. He was not very good. He made a number of clutch throws on 3rd down, especially in the 1st half, I'll give him that. But he had the ball for 2/3 of the entire game. What do you think Burrow, Tua, Fields, Eason, Hurts, Ehlinger, or any other good QB will do if they are given that much time?
This is a stat line of a QB who was very good against LSU:
31/47 (66%), 401 yards (8.5 avg), 4 total TDs, 0 INT
If Trask was "very good" last night, the score of this game would have been a lot higher on both sides.

Trask played great last night. He’s clearly Florida’s best QB. It’s just that LSU was better. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that Trask played his best game ever.

Burrow was phenomenal last night and Trask was very good.
