Scott Woodward is an interesting choice. I would also look at Alabama’s administration and see if there is someone there who would be a good fit. They have done exactly what we would like to do. Create an environment which fosters athletic success then capitalizing on that success to bolster academic success.

A clone of Dr. Jenkins for President. A proven person, preferably with LSU ties for AD.

The next LSU President needs to be a business guy not an academic or an existing college president. We have plenty of that. Someone who,can drive change and work within a budget. Make professors teach three classes not one. Dramatically improve, speed up and make technology transfer effective.
A large university should be spinning out dozens of start ups and businesses per year. Employment in BTR and Louisiana should be booming from the technology spinoffs. Sadly it is not. WTF are they doing.
Drive fund raising for the academic endowment and athletic programs.
Influence and make faster... recruit real estate investors around the campus to make it broader and more attractive.
Fix on campus lighting. The trees block it.
Significantly improve bandwidth on football game day. Load up game day bandwidth with ability to,do,in app purchases. Games contests etc.
Put small cell WiFi all over so everyone is connected. Video/ entertainment experience.
