Most of pollsters, fans and media put Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and Oklahoma in a different class then everyone else and that’s probably the right perception

Beating Auburn should put the team around 8. With Wisconsin losing as well, probably 6.

Based on the playoff committee ranking criteria, they should absolutely should be number 1. I don't think they are the best team in the country, but who has accomplished more on the field than LSU, with 2 Top 10 wins away from home?

Assuming Ohio State wins, I would have a hard time putting LSU ahead of any of those teams.

Between 6-8 IMO but I haven't looked at the outcomes yet so could be higher if other top 10 teams lost.
Huge win for LSU people! Huge for many reasons. Lots of recruits at that game. Orgeron is a legit coach now. Of course he was before this win but now the country will have to take notice and we could possibly catch the attention of some top recruits from a win like this.

6th. We aren’t going to jump Bama, Clemson, Ohio St (unless they lose), Oklahoma, Or UGA. I think we should jump Wash, ND, Penn St and Stanford though.

Moscona said something like that earlier this week. Yeah LSU has the two best wins of any program. You could argue #1 but they're not leapfrogging any of those other teams.

Who cares???? As long as we take care of business on the field, the rankings will take care of itself. Especially with our schedule.
