What will it take for the media to like LSU?

And I don't mean just this year. Obviously they hate us cause of our nasty wins this year, but we'll prove em wrong on that. I'm talking more in general. Seems we've always been neglected even as a top tier school.

Big cocktail parties where we invite all the sportswriters in the country to a fancy dinner and discuss how great we will be this year and why we should be considered elite (see Ohio St, USC). That bullshite goes a long way for the media clowns.
Also probably being able to predict one of our games once in a while would make us more liked. Vegas gets crushed just about every other LSU game.
I love the fact that we aren't a media darling.

I have heard a complete turn around with love for LSU this week on satellite radio. Rivals, Finebaum, etc. are all talking LSU for SEC champions and beyond (MNC). We just have to keep winning.

If we beat Auburn, we will get our national respect. You can't argue with 8-0 with the teams we would have knocked off. Plus, Auburn is a media darling right now.

I must admit, I get a little exited when I see and hear talk about LSU. But all and all, screw the media. College footballs bastard child is 6-0 with quality teams still scratching there heads wondering what happened. The record and schedule will make it impossible to deny us.
