If you have a deep threat throwing that is able to be successfull, the running game will shine as well. No more stack the line and dare us to pass cause they know we can't either throw it, catch it or OL can't protect QB. That was us last year please let it be different. If we have just a decent passing game to complement the run it going to be fun being a Tiger. Can't wait for season to start. Alas i have been here before preseason optimism dies on the vine come Sept but maybe this is the year i won't be disappointed.

This year has "championship" written all over it.

OL will be dominant. It will make Mett look like a 1st-rounder. Schedule be damned.

Less bitching on the Rant about the offense or lack thereof.

I personally want to see more shotgun and less I-form. I really have never seen a hurry-up offense use I-form, but we still had it in the Spring Game. I think the switch to no-huddle will place the offensive emphasis back to where it should be--gaining yards and scoring points, not winning the T.O.P. Clemson showed us a running offense doesn't win the T.O.P. 1st downs do. I'd just hate to see us revert back to the I if Mettenberger struggles. This will likely happen tho. So just like last year, it's still up to the passing game to prove itself before Miles really lets the leash off.

Playcalling: Against South Carolina, I shite you not, we ran the same slant play twice in-a-row for incompletions, then ran it again later that drive and USCe picked it off and almost scored. This did not stop us from running the play again later in the game.
