1960 Texas A & M as a 17 year old freshman. Didn't get to see all the games back then because I was so broke that I had to work as a parking attendent. But you could tell from the noise how the game was going.

1958 Tulane-- Tigers won 25-7
Jimmy Taylor was Sr. All American. Billy Cannon was Sophmore. I was 12-- and hooked. Little did I or anybody else in attendance fathom that Tigers would win National Championship the very next year!

you are right pepe it was 71 (typo-fixed it).
The larger point is that we are often quick to criticize coaches and players (sometimes w/o justification) when the game doesnt go our way.
Back then it was a 10 game season and now it is 12. Let the season play itself out.
