Yer not jes' woofin.
LSU's very first play from scrimmage set the tone for the whole night. Jordan Jefferson had to CALL TIME OUT because of the deafening roar from the Alabama fan base.
What bothers me is that LSU fans can fill up NRG Stadium in Houston, and AT&T Stadium in Dallas, but not a bowl venue only 70 miles from home! It's humiliating.

Most of the season ticket holders for SECCG are in GA, AL and a 150 mile radius of Atlanta.
I imagine the overwhelming majority of SECCG season ticket holdrs are bama/floridai fans so I don't think that factors into it. Each school received 16K tickets so you've got 16K off the bat that are going directly to LSU folks. The benz has PSLs that get dibs on some seats and those will obvoiusly be UGA people, and corporate folks get a frick ton as well and those are clearly going to be more UGA leaning. I would expect it to be the same any time LSU has played in the Sugar Bowl.

Was anyone at the 2007 NC between Ohio State and LSU? What was the crowd split there? I assume in favor of LSU since it was in NO.
I went to the 2003 & 2007 National Title games.
In 2003, OU had 5-1 fans over LSU Friday night in the Quarter. They were giving us a hard time about how they outnumbered us so much. Saturday night it was 2-1 LSU fans. Sunday night, 5-1 LSU fans and Monday afternoon, 10-1 LSU fans. In the dome, it was 70-30 LSU.
Against Ohio State, they had more fans in the Quarter all weekend long until Sunday night where we had a little more than them. We outnumbered them 2-1 Monday. In the dome, Ohio State was well represented, it was 60-40 LSU fans.

Let’s just say 2007 Dome was more purple and gold than 2011 Dome. 2011 was an absolute embarrassment.

Thanks Tom - I think that is about as well as can be expected when playing LSU in LA.
