Don't blame that on Ben. The players on CJ's team, his freshman year, were grateful to play on the same team as Chris. Some of Simmons teammates were jealous and did nothing positive for the team. Simmons could not overcome the selfish and stupid play even though he was unselfish to the extreme.

Howard "Hi-C" Carter. Baton Rouge guy who had a tremendous freshman year. Although he did not have the huge numbers of Pistol Pete or Chris Jackson, he was a surprising solid outside shooter on the 1980 team that won SEC Tournament.
