A starting qb that couldn't throw for over 100yds in a game.

Next year we get Old Miss after Bama ... that's a set up for another loss.

What was it that Vegas saw?
1. In the ten meetings with ar-KAN-sas under Leslie, LSU has only out scored arKANsas by 17 points total! 10 games!
2. The game comes after BAMA with no bye week in between
3. LSU is playing offense with one hand tied behind its back. (Bc of offensive scheme more than bc of QB! We have another QB who is capable, but was set up for failure in his only start, which came in a very hostile environment)!
4. LSU under Miles continues to play to the level of its teams (up or down).
I said at the beginning of the season, before I knew how much of a hot pile of dogshit in a dumpsterfire our O would be, we would lose to ARKY regardless of outcome against BAMA. So tough to get it together after playing BAMA, win or lose!

Who had Arkansas with 17, LSU with NOT a chance in the world to score a single point??

that made them think LSU would lose to Arkansas last week
The same thing many LSU fans saw.
1) Difficulty stopping the run up the middle
2) No passing game
3) Bama game hangover
4) Arky coming off a bye week
5) Arky on a 17 game SEC losing streak (same length losing streak MSU had against LSU that got broken earlier this year)
6) Game is in Fayetteville
7) Arky had lost several close games and was bound to get one

All the above, plus yet to be mentioned in this thread, that Ark sat 4-5 with with a very winnable LSU UM, and Mo final three games, needing two wins for bowl eligibility..
The season's gauntlet for all teams of most any rank-and-file, have their greatest potential pitfalls usually in November(rivalry games), as a season's fatigues and injuries, motivation levels up/down, grades, flu,etc..especially in roadies with rough weather vs underdogs playing their unofficial 'Super Bowls'..make for spots(trap games, sandwich gms, etc..)
About a good 35% of the Rant Prediction thread saw it coming, and it's usually 85/15 P&G Homer picks.

Arky at home, LSU on the road.. LSU coming off such a disappointment.
They also saw Alabama travel to Arkansas and Arkansas gave them the game with a missed xp and a missed easy fg..

Arky has given most of LSU's very best teams over the last 15 years grief, and the entire 20 years as SEC rivals.
Wasn't hard to see CLM's 2nd most struggling to his 2008 squad(if not 2014 the most struggling squad? TBD), was in a tough spot vs Hogs.
Anyone that's watched the two all year, when taking into account the Ark 0-17 run. The ATM and Bama blown chance gms, they took MSU to wire.
Then, LSU's lone road SEC W by scant margin/heroic final minutes/near miracle throws/kick at Fla..knew LSU was walking into a grind Saturday night.

Perhaps they realized we didn't match up well.
Perhaps they realized the despite the "haven't won an SEC game in 2 years" crap that this Arky team was pretty good.
Perhaps they realized it was the timing--post Bama.
Perhaps they realized that LSU-Arky is a "built in rival" aka "the boot"
Perhaps they took history into account that these games are traditionally close and seem to produce "upsets".
Or perhaps they were just trying to entice the bet to be made....

They heard Les say BH would be playing more, knew he was lying, and set the line based on having seen what happens with JJ II at QB.

they saw that LSU has never scored in a game that felt like below 20 degrees
