re: What was campus like when Shaq was here?

I remember the student section was like Mardi Gras every home game! Chris Jackson just made us all go bananas!!! I used to work in the Athlete’s cafeteria and I’d get to meet the athletes all the time. The bosses were so strict about the way we handled the food. It was so much different from the typical student cafeteria in the union . Shaq used to call me “Bruce” because he thought I looked like Bruce Springsteen. I took it as a compliment , but back then I would have preferred to have been called Joe Strummer . LOL
