MILES: In the next 32 hours I want them to relax and get off their feet. You can't play the game until you play the game.

Yet, it should all focus. When you are preparing for something that's significant, will provide you with significant lifetime memory, you need to qualify your want to participate, and it's a personal decision. And I think that if you see a team that's maybe a little bit, you know, within their own thought, that that's what they're doing. And I've kind of suggested that's the way to go.

And as they departed, the rider on the horse asked me one more question. He said, "Knowest thou why some call me the Mad Hatter?" I said, "Yes, sir. I believe I do." And he said, "Me neither."

I don't need to read the content of your post. The answer to the subject line of your post is always, always, "I have no idea what the hell he's talking about."

Translation

Each player has to decide how badly they want this victory and at waht lengths are they willing to sacrifice during the game to get it. Get mentally prepared to give 110%.

At least thats how i took it

Simple thing going on here. Saban piles pressure on the kids by reminding them constantly that the decisions they make will have consequences... While Miles reminds the kids to relax and remember this moment, you'll never forget it so long as you live.

One side is nervous as a result and the other side is loose.

And at the end of the game all of that nervous energy versus loose focus results in a worn out Bama getting Reauxlled by LSU

He enjoys victory
He has a want to compete
He and the young men on this football team will enjoy this experience
His team looks forward to playing in big games

I can translate:

While each player needs to make the decision to give it his all (i.e. individualized want), in that decision he finds the motivation (e.g. lifetime opportunity) and aligns this want with that of his teammates', who are coming to the same realization, at the same time; a unified want.
