None. LSU is easily better than anyone 4 and below. It wouldn’t have been as big as an arse whoopin though.

The answer is Bama, which is why this board was in a full on melt every time they were ranked 4th in the CFP polls, when it didn't even matter.

Uh. No. That wasn’t why, because most of us would have been happy to spank their arse again this year (and we would have rolled them like we did Oklahoma had they been the 4th spot). It was that the didn’t deserve to be in it since they had zero impressive wins and a loss at home where they got dominated from start to finish.

Easily the best team we played or will play BAMA.
Losing to Auburn totally screwed them from the playoffs and it was BAMA's year for injuries for sure. This happens to every team but this year was a real bad year for starters and very good players. Even with these injuries this is the best team we have played

RB Trey Sanders, foot injury on Aug. 8 -- season
LB Joshua McMillon, torn ACL, on Aug. 10 -- season
LB Dylan Moses, torn ACL, on August 28 -- season
C Chris Owens, knee injury in early September -- 2 games
DL LaBryan Ray, foot/ankle injury on Sept. 14 -- 9 games+
K Will Reichard, hip flexor, on Sept. 21 -- 5 games
QB Tua Tagovailoa, high-ankle sprain on Oct. 19. -- 2 game

Scared none. Most cautious? Clemson. With that however, we’re going to spank that arse.

With Tua...

Jones wasn't heady enough for primetime...

YET, kid is good, I look for him and Patterson in a shootout

What team could beat LSU outside of Clemson is LSU if they beat themselves. I honestly think Lau will put a beat down on Clemson. Lsu had one two many penalties vs Oklahoma. Against a team like Clemson, need to cut those dumb penalties out like fulton holding the wide receiver when ball wasn't catchable and miss doing a chop block. And hopefully no targeting like vs Georgia game.

This. There was no other team close to the top 3 teams except for Bama with a healthy Tua

It was why. 1/9 has not left the minds of a single person here. Another rematch would have had people nervous.

No way. A Bama team, with Tua, is the second best team in the nation. Not saying we couldn't have beat them again, but it would have damn sure been a better game than OU.

They were never staying at 4.

I think the question is regarding teams that didn't already make the playoffs
