More touches, but keep spreading it around. Fresh legs and less wear and tear.

We can talk about it all we want. Just wish the kid the best when he gets his opportunity. He deserves success, he has been waiting his turn. Success brings playing time. He'll they have faith in him. He was on the field for most third down plays.

Only in a Les Miles offense is a 215 lb back seen as small. Magee has huge thighs and is pretty thick despite his height. Magee is fine. I would be concerned if he was 200 lbs or less and not as thick.

Hill (2nd Half only)
Magee (great scat back/receiver out of backfield)
Blue (can do more, but is he dominant)
Hilliard (so much potential and a no-show for most downs)

Hill needs to earn that role back

Nah. He didn't lose the starting role because of performance. Once he has served what Miles considers the proper punishment, Hill is the RB that give LSU the best chance to win every Saturday and he will be utilized as such. Magee will see spot and mop up duty.

Lol, blue is definitely hills backup when hill is back. Magee is a different kind of back (think pierre thomas ray rice) and thus doesn't really compete for the same carries

I watched Magee play 4 years of high school ball... Special things happen when the ball is in his hands!!! He runs hard and I have seen him put moves on defensive backs that would drop your jaw.... I for one believe in the young man and good things are just around the corner.. Also I have seen Magee role out and throw the ball 65-70 yards on the run.

It's going to be interesting to see how the staff manages Magee in light of Hill's imminent return
Whether he's #1 or #2 isn't significant to me.
Cameron loves a RB with good hands, so I imagine he'll be featured plenty to avoid showing tendencies when in.

Blue dropped the ball and missed some key blocks that caused hurries and a sack, so that's going to get him moved down. Les plays the hot hand when he can. Right now that's Magee so I wouldn't be surprised if Magee starts Saturday, followed by Blue, then Hilliard. Whenever Hill comes back which will probably be this game or the next at the latest, he's going to get some snaps to see if he can earn his way back up. But honestly, we don't need him right now. We have an abundance of badass backs.

If Hill somehow gets back to number one it's gonna be with some ungodly highlight reel shite.

KG5989 knows football.
Again spot on. I really enjoy reading your posts. Everything about the LSU RB's is in that post and every bit of it is correct.
I listened to an interview with Magee the other day. I couldnt have been more impressed. I always pick my favorite offensive and defensive players each yr. The past two seasons were Jarvis Landry and Kevin Minter. Jarvis still leads, but this Magee kid is special player. With Hill, Mett and Magee there will be some sleepless nites at opposing DC's homes in the weeks ahead. Explosive players that can change the game on any 1 play.
