What should LSU have done to counter the 2 back set fsu did in second half?

Keep the offense on the field so the defense didnt get gassed and run over.

Have sustainable drives on offense and not give the ball away that led to a worn down defense.

Take Perkins out of inside linebacker would have been the first adjustment. I don't want to be a broken record but he was lost. Either he isn't fully grasping what hes supposed to do or he isn't being Coached enough to know what hes supposed to do. Because he literally did not know what to do.

they were trying to bait us into bringing a safety into the box... you needed a run stuffing LB in... penn... should have played bump and run where the DL squeezes the middle... or slant.. either work against a counter..

FSU coaches saw that LSU DBs are terrible. They knew that LSU would need to keep their safeties back, even against power. If you don't have the dudes on the backend, there is not much you can do up front to stop the run except take a chance with numbers.
