has lost six regular season games the past two seasons.

When Miles was fired, he had lost 10 of the last 28 games.

I'm confused here, are we hoping for success or failure?

Why even ask this question? Everything trending positively for LSU Football and you ask this question? How miserable are you? GTFO with this fn garbage.

What a strange sample size

But ok, when Miles was being actively ousted in 2015 he was 19-9 in his last 28 games.

If O goes 9-3, he will be 21-7 in his last 28.

And again Miles had a history of winning championships. O does not.

Is 19-9 fireable for a multiple championship winning coach but 21-7 is not for a guy that has never even seriously competed for a championship?

Where is the line?

Well success, obviously.

But hoping (and praying) doesn’t make it so.

The question is what constitutes success or failure.

If LSU loses 3 straight conference games by more than 2 touchdowns this year the hot seat will be deserved.

If he loses to Texas his seat gets hot. That would be Mullen, Fisher, Herman and Saban he would have gone down to within less than a seasons worth of games.

If that makes you feel better.

If he ends 11-2, no hot seat.

But hey, whatever gives you hope

So Bama and Texas as losses?

I think 11-1 with loss to Bama.

Three straight very bad losses in a row, and a 5 loss season in 2014.

There was far more to it than going 9-3 in 2015.

Didn't you say that one season has no bearing on the next season?

A west title would make me feel better , but if you think his seat doesn't warm up with a defeat at Texas you are nuts. That doesn't mean he cant recover with winning the west or going 7-1, but certainly defeats to the four teams I listed within ten games is going to be very hard for you guys to explain away.

I don't think it should happen since they loss a lot.

It's bizzare how many people are worried about a negative future instead of enjoying each moment.

I wish the admins would demolish this thread which is a duplicate of threads since coach was hired.

This thread indicates emotional illness on the part of op.

Get therapy.

You dont understand why people supprted the most accomplished coach in lsu history and one of the most accomplished coach in sec history?

He has as many top 10 finishes as the previous 40 years of lsu football combined. I know how much top 10 finishes mean to O guys.

Well o has lost 7 games in 2 years.
Miles lost 8 in 2014 and 2015.

Glad to see youre admitting O should be
on the hotseat.
