The “never made it to” parameter can easily be interpreted as didn’t actually play for LSU, whatever the status was prior to that.

Felipe Franks is the only answer. I am glad I was wrong about Shae Patterson because I was honestly upset when he decommitted and committed to Ole Miss. Turned out to be below average and thankful he didn't make it to campus now but I was not then.
Zach Lee was the QB I was most distraught over losing when he elected to sign with the Dodgers...I really thought he was going to beat out both Jefferson and Lee and be the savior...

It’s pretty obvious he got that rank because of his name. Not his performance.
Not saying he’s terrible, but had his name been Smith rather than Manning, he never would have been #1 or even close to a 5 star player.

It has to be Franks going to Florida we should ALL be thankful for. He would have been a mediocre junior QB in 2018 with Myles and Narcisse as backups and there's no question of O going after JB prior to the 2018 season.
Robert Lane - Would have transferred or Saban kicks him out if he came to LSU. So no big difference.
Kiel - Mett would have still started in 2012 and 2013. No big deal.
Liggins - Just bizarre that Les recruited that big fellow so hard. We would have had another season of putrid offense under Les.
