A good in-game coach would have noticed this and called a timeout to fix the issue. Instead Jones acts like a stoned turtle on the sideline taking in the game. It appears we try to work a motion offense but it gets clogged up when mickey is playing bad

Their offense should have been Quarterman/Martin pick and roll, with sets out of it where Hornsby comes off screens for 3's or jump shots, and Mickey and Patterson looking for areas to exploit off of it.

I'd be fine with just the pick and roll and either Quarterman driving to the goal or giving it to Martin near the free throw line to do whatever the hell he wants.

I can except losing b/c Martin and Quarterman didnt' make plays, or plays were run for Hornsby to get open looks. But instead we did nothing for 25 seconds then panicked and through up crap shots.

Yeah, the team was panicked. Mickey was still money on defense, but he clearly didn't want to be the focus down low. If it were me coaching, I'd have swapped Martin and Mickey's positions on offense, let Mickey flot out more (and hide him a little), have Martin posting up, and have Quarterman and Martin play a 2 man game. Let Patterson and Hornsby spot up, and have Mickey flash in on the backside (and only for rebounds and alley-oops).

It's sad, but good coaching would have won us that game

It's called utilize your players until they break. They were logging in 30-40 minutes a game like they are Lebron. They had no bench to help. It is hard to be consistent when you are competitively playing that amount of minutes. Basically, they're conditioning sucked and you're going to see the same utilization of minutes with next years class. Be prepared to watch Ben Simmons and co. play 30+ minutes a game.

That shot clock control though. Let's just chuck shite up in the air with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. There was no control of the lead or clock control. Bash me all you want, that is what I saw.

I was happy when I saw we got N.C state. I thought no way can Jones get out coached, yet he found a way to do so.

I see as much truth as humor unfortunately.
