idiotic statement

Why? A Ton of fans/students only pay attention to football and/or baseball. maybe the word "most" was a bit much but there are plenty of casual fans who don't even know who tasmin Mitchell is.

Any person remotely associated with Lsu this decade KNOWS who big baby is. Taz comes now where close to Glenn in recognizability

I'm sure you could stump a lot of students by asking if they know who glenn davis is... Everyone SHOULD know who he is but a lot don't. And I'm lumping the women and "professional tailgaters" in with this group. Not the majority of people who dwell on TD.com.

Dude, a current student would be known more among current students. But if you are asking about more attention in general then:
college final 4 + NBA Champion >>>> college football champion (almost).

Shoot, I bet more "current" student would recognize Storm Davis than Chris Jackson!

Casual football fans here in the NE see me in my LSU gear and bring up the Honey Badger during conversations about football and the BCSNCG...coversations that they initiate.

Back when Big Baby was leading us to the final four, people in this college basketball loving region would see me in my LSU gear and ask "you guys made it to the final four, right?" And when I would say yes and mention Big Baby during the ensuing conversation, they wouldn't know who I was talking about half the time (some thought it was the coach).

Honey Badger, and it isn't even close.

I'm 23 and I know all about LSU before my time. That doesn't mean everyone does. And that doesn't mean everyone associated with LSU pays attention. Hell, think about all the bandwagon fans who started paying attention LSU football in '03. I'm not saying nobody knows who Glenn Davis is, I'm just saying he's not as known as honey badger.

No need to get so defensive guys

You forgot "heisman finalist" in your equation. Besides, More people watch college football than the NCAA.

Should I mention that he was an NBA champion with the Boston Celtics???

And while I think that this year's game will be highly watched because LSU has swag it will be about 10 points lower nationally than it would have been if it wasn't an inter-confernce game.

Honey Badger...Hands down! Not even close!

Here's some clues:

How many versions of "Big Baby" t-shirts did you see for sale when Glen Davis was here?

Did the NCAA ever instruct LSU to issue a Cease and desist order on "Big Baby" merchandise?

Just need to follow the money trail...

For all of you butt hurt basketball fans, read the question. No where did the OP say most accomplished athlete, or better tiger. He said which nickname garnered the most attention and that is without a doubt HB. Someone dressed up as him on Sportcenter for Halloween this year, every sportsfan in the country knows who the badger is and where he plays ball, it isn't even close.

Hb has reached a much higher amount of attention nationally, but it won't stick for his whole career. Big baby will. It's a push

Honey Badger by far. Saw a pistachio commercial the other day with actual a honey badger and the guy who made the original honey badger video. Nut companies are even cashing in on HB. Cant remember any company making a marketing play off BB
