7-6 is possible. But so is 11-2.

Miles is listed by the state as having a $300,000 salary but TAF picks up the other $3,700,000. Besides, the Legislature does not vote on pay for state employees anyway.

Wrong. If the money is coming from TAF, then Miles has nothing to do with the raises. And raises would be voted on by the University.

Point: Miles cannot unilaterally give raises to his assistants.

Pointing out 7-6 is a possibility makes you a negatiger.

You are naive my friend. If you honestly think he has no influence, then you do not live in reality, or Louisiana

I'm still waiting for miles to win a big game since 2007 but hey, that's just me.

We've beaten a bunch of shite teams this year, nothing more.

My response: a good coach is deep enough that a "few" players do not derail a team like it did last year.

Like OU and USC?

No. Only applies to Miles.

After his NC,Miles lost to Florida 51-21. Shameful, horrible coaching.

After his NC,Saban lost to Georgia 45-16."Hey,just one of those games."

Auburn wasn't a big game? They're 7-3 and we shite stomped them. Peach Bowl?

Pretty sure Pete Carrol would consider that Washington win a big one.

And yeah, winning in Athens is nothing to write home about. We always beat UGA on the road.

No...I guess i'll spell it out for you. Do you consider Stoops and Carrol bad coaches? Their starting QB went down and they lost to FAR inferior talent.

By the way...Miles lost his 1st AND 2nd string QB last year.

No auburn is a game we should have won. I'm waiting to win a game where the talent is equal where we don't commit stupid penalties and then blame the refs like that was our only chance to win.

If Peterson, Jefferson, and Scott don't get hurt we win that game.

There a few posters on the rant that believe we should be 9-0 right now, although about 98% of the ranters had us at 9-3 or maybe 10-2 back in Aug - which would have been a very good season, condsidering a 19 yr old qb and new def coord. Now there are some that believe we should be #1 and headed for the NC.

No. That doesn't work.

By saying that, you are showing a complete disregard for the LSU Sabanistas.

As you well know, Sabanistas appreciate & service Saban 24/7.

And if we make decent half time adjustments and don't sit on a 4 point lead we probably win the game too. We let them run down our throats.

With what? What makes you think that where this team is at on a maturity level gives you an idea that this team should be beating others with 10x the experience.

The problem with some LSU fans is they want perfection and a BCS NC every year just like what USC does. After Notre Dame goes after Saban and Meyer it will be interesting to see what happens.
