He hired O, Wade and tried to can Miles when it was right. He was never all that bad in my opinion.

Had Miles been fired for cause (after?) the 2013 season, who would have been the next HC at LSU?

I believe it would have been Jimbo

Cam Cameron would have been the interim. Then gone 9-3/8-4. Then our top target would have said no and Alleva would have freaked out and removed the interim tag.

This tells me Joe and F King had no reason whatsoever to retain Les after the 2015 A&M game.

I always assumed it was because Alleva wasn't hiding the fact that he wanted to fire Les and F. King didn't like the negative optics of that.

I thought Alleva was a complete arse because he was disrespectful to Miles for all he had done for LSU. Turns out, there was a reason JA didn't respect LM. And I agree with him.

Imagine people hating your for treating a POS like S and then having to just take it.

Alleva was right about getting rid of Miles. Alleva’s biggest mistake was hiring O based on the binder and no legitimate search. I’m not sure what to think about the WW situation. The suspension without evidence was not good, but there was some insuboridination when WW refused to speak with his boss

True.

But Alleva had nobody to blame but himself - his handling of Duke lacrosse is why nobody was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

LSU is turning more liberal by the semester. It’s astonishing

You should visit Southeastern out in Hammond, might as well be in California
