I'm sitting in 234 row 1. Right on the 50. Booked at the Marriott in walking distance. Hitting up a Rangers/Twins game the night before. Can't wait.

That'll be cool. Candlewoods aren't bad at all.

[quote]That'll be cool. [/quote ) I've always watched the games with my dad( and best friend ) he passed (83)this year. I've always told my wife that I wanted to go to some away games, so we are going to make it a point to go to one away game a year( hopefully two)

Yeah I started going to one SEC road game every year. Something I started about 7 years ago. This year I'm scratching A&M off my list. Last year was Tennessee since I didn't know when we would play them again . Plus it was an awesome trip. I'm sorry about the passing of your dad.i lost mine the day before lsu crapped the bed in the NC game vs Bama. Hope you guys have fun.

First time since 2009 we are not attending the opening game. A part of me wishes we were going but looking forward to BBQ'ing, beer drinking and being home this time around.

this is what I do. I go to every home game, but honestly, I find myself really looking forward to my away game each year just as much as the home games.

Sorry to hear about your dad...I am sure he would be pleased to know that you will always remember watching games with him.
