-Players don’t care about the programs or the degrees

-fans don’t care about the games enough to stay all the way through the games

-conferences are pointless, notre dames not even in one/ you don’t have to win your conference to make the playoffs

-Coaches don’t care- huge buy outs allow them to get comfortable at a place for an extended period of time/leave a school as soon as a better opportunity presents itself.

-NCAA doesn’t care- with the emergence of the grad transfer trend and new redshirting rule a player can transfer mid season or at the very end of the career if the feel it is in their best interest- no allegiance

-only a select few have a shot at even making the playoffs and everyone else fights over spots in watered down bowl games that no one gives a frick about (zero attendance) and least of all the players.

Why even spend money on something anymore if it literally has no point to it

Well said. I’ve been wondering this for a few years now. I call it an NFL developmental league.

What’s the point of anything? Work 70% of your life and die alone. College football is something to make that 30% a little bit more fun or interesting

No. No it isn’t. The NFL is a great product. The most elite players. Parity. High quality production.

In the large purpose of life college football has always been pretty unimportant.

On a small scale, it's very popular and serves a purpose. If it didn't, why would networks dish out mass amounts of money to put it on tv?

Don't worry though, I came up with a solution for you. Don't go to games, and turn the channel on your tv when a game comes on. Problem solved.

As for me, I enjoy watching college football, more than any other sport. So I'll call you a whiny bitch, and continue watching games.

That’s great point. Maybe you should stop caring about it since there’s no point right?

UCF is a perfect example of how the system is rigged they could go undefeated every year and still never make the playoffs because an sec team with 2 tough loses.. might not even win the conference championship would still make it over them. At what point does it begin to hurt the sport?

College football is better

Exciting offenses, variety, options.

Please explain to me how a 14-9 game between the then 10-4 bears and the 4-10 49ers is a great product?

In any given week there are like maybe 5 watchable NFL games, and the 11 games only compulsive gamblers, locals and fantasy owners give 2 shots about

Because it is an escape for 3 hours 12 Saturdays a year where I don’t have to worry about bills, work, the future or any other issues going on In my life. I just get to watch my team play a game and focus on that. Once it’s over I go back to all the other things in my life but for those 3 hours I can be a kid again and not worry about anything but that moment.

I get all that. I also can’t stand how defense has been systematically eliminated from the game and various other rules that no one seems to be able to figure out. A lot of the same issues plague college football. But I still greatly prefer CFB for mostly subjective reasons like nostalgia and my love of LSU. I could never care about another sport as much as I care about LSU

The best players opt to play in the games and usually there are fans in the stands

Damn. You doubled down on stupid. Do you think if UCF played even a semi difficult schedule that they would be undefeated? If they did, and they still went undefeated, do you think they would be left out of the playoffs?
