I thinks it's a reasonable question. I've been kinda curious as to why each person has their own reason. I do get the bets, and I don't think the OP was knocking anyone for it.

Went to Southeastern but have always loved LSU because my mom went there. I'll always pull for Southeastern over LSU in a game not that we ever have a snowballs chance in hell of winning unless it is baseball. Realistically not then either.

Considering it's an LSU forum, I assume people here know I'm an LSU fan. So I wanted to show support to the team I grew up watching since Louisiana doesn't have a MLB team

I am led to believe it's the bandwagon bullshite. LSU is there Fb team, but they "happen" to pull for duke or UK in hoops. Kinda like the classic mid 90s cowgirls, bulls, Yankees, unc hoops & Miami hurricane Fb prick.

In my case, I graduated from both schools. Grew up in BR but have lived in the PNW for 40 years. I have W on my posts because when W was going through such a terrible time a number of years ago I figured they needed my help more than LSU. Not quite time to switch back, yet. BTW, I have three LSU season tickets and still make it to a game or two every year.
