This is absolutely wrong. Winning out means we win the SEC Championship game and are an automatic Top 4 seed.

No im saying win out regular season but don’t go to ATL

I am solely focused on LSU and us handling our own business

Have to take care of business first but will enjoy the scenarios.

Winning out and NOT going to the SEC Championship would almost surely result in us being in the playoff. I'd be shocked if a 10-2 LSU team with wins over Alabama and Ole Miss would be left out of a 12 team playoff. .

There are 262,144 potential combinations of remaining SEC game outcomes that lead to a 7-1 conference record for LSU.

Only 88 of those scenarios (0.03%) result in LSU being left out of the SECCG.

(By my math. TIFWIW.)

Point is, it’s very unlikely for 7-1 LSU to get left out of the SECCG.

ETA: Fixed some math.
