Winning out and NOT going to the SEC Championship would almost surely result in us being in the playoff. I'd be shocked if a 10-2 LSU team with wins over Alabama and Ole Miss would be left out of a 12 team playoff. .

There are 262,144 potential combinations of remaining SEC game outcomes that lead to a 7-1 conference record for LSU.
Only 88 of those scenarios (0.03%) result in LSU being left out of the SECCG.
(By my math. TIFWIW.)
Point is, it’s very unlikely for 7-1 LSU to get left out of the SECCG.
