What in the world has happened to our strength and conditioning program?

Is it just me, or do we look like a Sun Belt team physically? Our linemen look soft. Our skill positions look skinny. When I look at other SEC teams they are JACKED.

Moffitt was (and I believe IS) one of the best in the world, so what’s the problem? Is it nutrition? Work ethic? Leadership?

It’s time to make the weight room a priority again. That’s where toughness starts physically and mentally, and we lack that big time.

About the only strength and conditioning this younger generation gets is due to fabulous dancing in their Tic tock videos

LSU has 10 first Rd picks the last 5 years & have had 39 players drafted. That’s almost 8 per year

Do you realize how insane this is, or no

I agree with you. Our guys look underdeveloped at most positions than other teams in the league. There’s a few guys here and there that look the part, but we are lacking as a team. The OL lack of physicality can be traced back to this. That and being overweight/out of shape.

Whatever the issue, it's O's fault somehow.

Moffitt was doing fine as recently as 2 years ago and S&C started dropping off sharply about the same time as everything else around the program did.

You can’t say with a straight face that our players as a whole look like Ohio state, Bama, UGA etc. There’s something lacking, particularly up front, in the strength program.

Man not just the top schools, we don’t match up physically to lesser SEC schools like Ole Miss, and you’ll see it against State this weekend.

It’s the overall theme of players not developing their game when they get to LSU. And that started when O got here.

When I first read a post about deer antler spray in reference to 2011 Alabama, I thought it was a joke. Nope, it's fricking real.

I don't think that the whole team isn't conditioned, but when Ed Ingram said after the UCLA that the offensive line was tired and out of shape I wanted to flip shite. How are you not in shape for the first game of the season coming off of a off-season conditioning program? That is insane to me

You do realize that the NFL drafts on speculative potential, right??? Why do you think so many players from small time schools get drafted? Because they were in an elite weight & conditioning program in college? Lol.

NFL GM’s draft pure talent that they know they can train and coach up to the level they need.

LSU recruits incredibly talented players every year. That’s why LSU has lots of players in the NFL.

4+ people apparently don't want to hear this, but that is 100% on Ed. Contrary to popular belief, Moffitt can't force people into the weight room. O can.

Considering the undisciplined ways that Orgeron conducts himself, is anyone really surprised that he is lax in ensuring that proper off-season work gets done?

I think Moffitt was one of the best to ever do it, but it’s painfully apparent last year and so far this season we aren’t physical enough. I think most of the OL problems are at the hands of O and Cregg, but the strength staff has to be partially to blame. I’m not calling for him to be replaced by any means, but something needs to be recalibrated with the strength program for us to be more physical, particularly in the trenches. The SEC gauntlet could expose a lot of flaws like UCLA did.

Its not on Moffit. This whole fall practice all we heard was
how many injuries we had.LSU didn`t scrimage or tackle very much this fall. This NFL approach that O takes is backfiring
on him .Look at the NFL and all the injuries this year.If
you dont get used to contact in practice you are not going to be phsyical in season. Fact

Moffitt was great but the game has passed him by. You can't look at our Oline or Ferrell fat arse and not see the decline.
