JL has a good game against Troy. Will all the nega-Lee stop?? Will it change your opinion about him or not??

he could be 24/25 but if the one missed pass is a pick 6 the bitching will continue

The back up is always the best QB according to people here. It has always been the case.

I think Lee has the potential and will be very good. Jamarcus Russell was not good as a redshirt frshman and he turned out pretty good. I bet he makes huge strides from here on out.

against troy? Not me, granted I am not a true fan and my love for LSU is due to memories of my grandpa- but I would be PISSED if he preformed well against Troy- because I would want to know where that was Sat. I mean, the UGA game and the UF game were blowouts by being exploited on Defense, but an average QB could have beated Bama

The Troy game is a no win for Lee. If he plays poorly, the bitching obviously continues. If he plays lights out, before he can compile some really good stats he will and should get benched to put JJ in the game to gain experience.

He should play the first quarter and then have JJ play the rest of the game.

he has now played against 3 of the toughest teams in the SEC. Just thinking maybe he calms down a little...and shows us what he is capable of doing.

I for one like JL, and I am sure he is going to be a really good qb in the next couple of years.
We are going to be fine.

no, its not enough to play well against average competition, we need a qb who can compete against the best the sec has to offer.

That's what we thought before the Tulane game and he really struggled.

I think he's just lost too much confidence at this point. He should still get some PT but Jefferson needs to play a lot going forward.

Getting young players experience and having fun with what is left of the year should be the goals at this point.

I'd expect to see more of Ryan Baker, Karnell Hatcher and maybe some of the linemen as well.

I like JL too. I believe he can become a great one once he settles in. Granted, I had hoped he would settle in faster. Troy will not be the game to get people off his back though. No matter how well he plays, people can say so what, it was against Troy.

All in all...he does have potential. He has a cannon for an arm. But, even I'm becoming skeptical. It seems like he's getting worse. Maybe it's the pressure finally getting to him.

As far as this season goes...JL has blown it. I don't think he'll get much respect if he leads the team to win against Troy, Piss, and the Hogs. If he managed to take out #1 Bama at home in TS...then even the 4 ints would be tolerable. However, he didn't show up for our three biggest games...UF, UGA, and Bama. He did in the second half of AU, but remember that if Hatch didn't go out of the game...we wouldn't have seen him make some of those passes.

Let JJ come in, get some experience and let's get a 2 QB system rolling for our last 3 games. JL cannot do it by himself, yet. His complete lack of a running threat does not help either.
