JJ could've thrown for 200+ easy if crowton was calling more offensive friendly plays rather than 40+yd bombs all the time in the 2nd half.

I think most coaches, want a more mobile guy for your QB in college. Go back and start with the first BCS champ, Tenn, and look at the last ten results. How many BCS champs had a qb whose mobility was similar to JL? USC with Leinart is the only one comes to my mind. All other things being fairly close, give me the guy that can run for my QB.

You can't PROVE that in Spring practice. Can only PROVE it in live games and not against those out of conference "Sisters of the Poor" schools. Gotta get it done in the S.E.C. games...

Lee is at least as mobile as Leinart and Krenzel, and def. faster than Weinke. I don't think he's as slow as ppl make him out to be.

Jamarcus could get out of trouble too when he had to. As for the Matts. Are you serious? They both were VERY good with their legs when the play broke down.

Why can't this thread end.
None of you or I have any control over who the starter will be.
I'm sure there will be an open competition and they'll go with the guy that gives LSU the best chance to win.
I'll be supporting whomever wins the job.
But the constant insults towards any particular player are over the top and provide an indication of the insulter's total lack of character.
