there will be some happy DB's throughout the SEC that will get to pad their stats again at the expense of LSU

If it's because Lee becomes the second coming of Tommy Hodson it's a good thing. If it's because JJ becomes the next Jamie Howard it's a bad thing

Not everyone is down with hypotheticals, I see.

It is an interestintg line of thought you brought out tonight, D-Unit. Like Lithium said, I hope it would be because JL made ridiculous strides in the off season and not because JJ didn't progress enough.

I don't understand why so many of yall are so negative. Each year each player should compete for their position. Competition (in sports and business)forces all of us to be better.

I would say he has a tall mountain to climb, even if he looks great in practice-- in the back of the minds of coaches , players and JL will be

PICK 6 is it over or will it happen again

IF they perform even close to even JL sits

He may outplay Jefferson in practice but Jefferson is definitely the man when it comes to playing in a real game.

Apparently he did that in 2008. But JJ proved he is better in games. I'll take whoever plays better in games.

lee will do exceptionally well in spring and fall practices - just like he has always done.

... in a NON-CONTACT environment.

this staff won't be fooled again by young mr. lee when he is wearing a GREEN JERSEY.

this staff knows now that the fear of being hit changes lee completely.

But you better believe plenty of fools on this board will after the spring game. I could care less how he looks in practice until he proves he can handle the pressure and perform better in real games he should be behind jefferson.

Well, I've seen Lee take plenty of big time hits and still make big time plays ala the AU td to C. Mitchell. Most of his picks were when he dropped straight back, had time to dissect the coverage and yet still managed to miss the guys dropping back in the middle of the field. That's just not good football, especially from a "coach's son." JJ showed in just two games that he can at least check off of his primary WR and get out of the pocket when he has to. If Lee starts a game other than due to injury we're fricked.
