Why don't you know how to use punctuation? And nobody forced you to jump into the thread pal.

Robinson needs to play more minutes and when he
s in they need to go to him with the ball. Sampson and AB need to attack the pain more and not shoot those contested jumpers. Makes teams account for Robinson when he in there.

Robinson has been very productive lately. And having a 7-1 290lb guy in college is a huge advantage. Most college centers are. 6-8 to 6-10 the matchup is favorable nomatter what. Syracuse had a 7 footer a lot like Elbert in 03 who just took up space didn't really have good numbers but helped the team. Uga had a guy Charles Claxton in the mid 90s just like Elbert but only 265ish he made a huge difference for them. Elbert's per 36 minute avgs are like 12.5pts 8.8 Rebs and 1.8 blocks. He's a useful backup.

Another stupid theory. Brady was even let go by Arkansas State and had other issues, but hey some idiots on this board wanted Art Briles even though he covered up more than 70 sexual assaults by about 50 players and cost Baylor $7.5 million annually in revenue from the Big 12 until they clean it up. Many of you all also preach about the moral decline in this country. You all are laughable.

We don't need Brady.
We don't need JJ.
Our BB program needs a re-boot.
All new coaches. All new team.
Start from scratch.

Again try reading the post jackass. I didn't say I wanted him back. Just wondering what his record would be with this group .

I would say if he ever did play 36 minutes the numbers would not play out that way. He's likely not in shape to play even 20 minutes for one thing, much less 30.

The issue has always been with Elbert is he cannot move very well, whether it be laterally, diagonally, straight north/south, whatever.

There are drills and the like to improve agility and flexibility and you can slightly improve your foot speed with others. I'm sure all have been tried. But there is only so much you can do.

And I'm sure the kid is trying, but he'll never be a consistent shot blocker because he's not a leaper nor does he move particularly well. The more he plays the more teams will isolate him in pick and roll situation and take advantage.

He has made some strides offensively, you can tell he's put some work in there. But he's not improved enough IMHO to get significant minutes. I've found him as a rebounder to be below average for someone of his size.

I think you can find a roll for him where if the other team puts a big out there who is somewhat of a plodder like Elbert and get him some minutes against those guys.

Otherwise I think most times your compromising to many other things when Elbert is out there.

I'm def not saying play him 36 mins but he's improved and contributes this year. He's been sitting we've been getting blown out. Things need to change and him getting minutes by all measurements would be a positive change. It's not the only thing that needs to happen but jones isn't going to improve so we need every positive action happening at once nomatter how small it is.

Brady would make the Tourney. Would have made it last year too. I'm so glad the basketball fans ran him off for being mean.

I can't ever understand talking about John Brady. The man was fired at LSU. He was essentially fired at lowly Arkansas State.

The man has no job in basketball and nobody wants him.

I think our fans are so used to mediocrity and losing that our standards are rock bottom.

Let Miles/Cam coach one side during the spring game with Brady at QB.

I think you may be on tour something. If nothing else it forces the opponent to substitute, which is at least dictating something they have to do.

The Brady history revision going on is incredible. Dude got lazy as shite after that final four year. He was unlucky to lose both Tas and Chris Johnson to injury his last season but those teams quit rebounding and defending (the 2 staples of Brady ball) midway thru the 06-07 year.

We would be slightly better (mind you I've watched 3 minutes of this years team but I'll take yalls word that they suck orangutan cock) but would still suck and the pmac would be just as dead. There's your answer.

At least they did it for half a season, which is more than can be said for this year's bunch.

Considering how far the team went with both Shaq and CJ, probably not much better.
