My worst fear is that this situation plays out like the OG says, while you me and the rest of lsu fans think a 2 loss SEC champ goes to CFP. SEC champ is a GUARANTEED CFP berth right?? but somehow the selection committee looks at our two losses and decides to leave us out. Would piss me off to no end

LSU wins out including beating an undefeated Georgia in the SECCG, then the Tigers are in the playoff, hands-down and no questions asked.

You can’t punish a 2 loss SEC champion for playing a tougher schedule than Big Ten and PAC 12

Would be

Osu/mich
Uga
Lsu
Tcu

In no order. Just my opinion.

The PAC 12 actually looks like a really good conference this year. If Oregon were to win out they could have wins over UCLA, Utah and USC, with their lone loss in week one against Georgia. That stacks up really well to LSU’s resume.

If lsu wins out they're in. I'd guess

1. Osu
2. Tcu
3. Lsu
4. UGA

5 . Oregon / USC
6. Clemson
