Having given your comment some thought, I decided to check it out. (I wanted to show other posters why I responded to you the way I did in my first post in this thread.)

so you responded that way without knowing anything about me, THEN decided to check it out? you sound like you might be a little insecure or got your feelings hurt that someone might have slightly disagreed with you if you had to take a considerable amount of time to "size me up"

quote:

1) You've averaged almost 5 posts/day since your TD.com join date last year.

2) You were stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky most of the last year. (Not exactly a hot bed of hostile fire to worry about.)

3) You have posted on TD every month in the last year except for right after when you graduated last May when you didn't post in June or July.

4) You consistently criticized Les Miles and Jordan Jefferson during the football season.

5) You consistently criticized LSU baseball coaches and players last season, including Blake Dean, one of the best players ever at LSU.

6) In your OP in this thread you used it to take a shot at Joey Bourgeois, a kid who obviously played hurt last season.

1) csb but that doesnt mean i have been on here every day posting 5 times, therefore its reasonable for me to not know what has happened with every baseball player on the team

2) false. i was at fort knox for only 3 months. and i was working 5am-9pm 7days a week with. that comes out to 112 hours a week

3) once again posting every month, does not mean i am on here lurking every day being able to get every single update on the baseball team

4) i think it is safe to say 90% of the posters on here were frustrated with miles/JJ and gave some constructive criticism or vented their frustration

5) i was at nearly every baseball game in spite of the team's struggles, and for every frustrated, criticizing post there are also positive, supportive posts

6) i think most fans would agree with me that he is not a huge loss. it wasnt a personal attack on the kid. i didnt know that he had TJ surgery but its not like i was wishing he didnt recover and has a shitty future

Bourgeois, Rittner and Matulis were not major losses to our team in fact it was probably like cutting sling.

No, jerkwad.

I remembered enough about your posts last baseball and football seasons to know that you post often, with many of your posts hyper-critical of players and coaches of both sports.

I especially remember a harsh criticism you made against Blake Dean when he was slumping last season.

Another example was when someone started a thread about Tyler Hanover making the Cape Cod All League team, this is what you posted:
quote:

It is not that big of an accomplishment
LINK

So when I read your "I don't know what's going on because I'm serving my country" statement, I knew it was just a ploy to either get sympathy or praise, and not really a reason why you didn't know about Bourgeois' surgery.

Only this morning did I decide to search your posts to see how often or how much you've been "out of the loop." You have NOT been out of the loop.

You made 37 posts in the month of August. I mention that because there were two threads started that month about Bourgeois' and Rittiner's Tommy John surgery. Is it possible you didn't see either of those threads?

So, it's clear you just wanted to take another shot at a player, Bourgeois in this case, and then you wanted to hide behind your service as an excuse for taking the shot.

I appreciate your military service, especially you risking your life in Fort Knox, Kentucky, but that doesn't give you a free pass to piss on LSU players and coaches.

About what? What facts about your posting history am I delusional about?

While YOU are the one who keeps posting crap about kids playing for LSU. Now WHO is trying to be a message board bad arse?

Stay safe. And, again, thank you for your service.

you are crazy for taking the time to stalk my whole life on a message board to attempt to be right about something totally trivial. you are delusional to think that just because i had 37 posts in the month of august, i automatically saw 1 of the 2 threads about the Tommy John surgery and therefore just started this thread to crap on Bourgeois. i think everyone but you realized i started this thread as a legitamite question and would agree that he is not a huge loss. i am not hating on him personally, just stating facts. same thing i/others do any other time when we are critical of an LSU team/player

Exaggerate much?

It's pretty obvious you did. Otherwise, you could have left of the "no big loss" part.

would agree that he is not a huge loss.
There you go again. Did you ever stop and think, Einstein, that maybe his elbow, which he had to have surgery on, might have kept him from meeting your lofty standards for players?

What facts?

That does get on my nerves too...it's one thing to disagree with someone, but they always have to insult or put down...it gets old, especially when we are all suppose to be Tiger fans...Not everyone has every bit of Tiger news the instant it comes out...

dude, you took the time to count how many posts i had in the month of august. enough said

I could have, but that doesn't mean that the purpose of the thread was to degrade him. I also could have posted a picture of a squirrel taking a shite, but I didn't - now analyze that one for me.

dude, he had an approximate 6.00 ERA at freakin LSU-Eunice 2 seasons ago and had roughly the same ERA for us last year. So unless he's been dumb enough to play hurt 2 seasons in a row before getting surgery, i doubt that is an excuse. If my lofty standards for a historically dominant baseball team include determining that pitchers with a 6 ERA not being on the active roster isn't that big of a loss, then I am proud I do not care for mediocrity. Like I said, I have nothing against the guy. I hope he is successful and that includes if he returns to the team next year.
