Matt House isn’t as bad as some of you think he is and should probably stick around next year. Better players and continuity will help the program in the long run.

List of all these better players he has coming in. Because the ones he has recruited aren’t cutting it.

You do realize this was GA State, right?

Have you watched the effort, the tackling, the poor angles, the lack of ball awareness? Yes, I could go one.

The main thing you apparently need to recognize is that if one person has these problems, then it is the player’s problem. If an entire defense has these problems, then it is the coaching staff. Very simple.

It’s called adjustments (on our side) and lack of depth(on theirs)

And where will these better players come from exactly? Recruiting on the defensive side sucks, and their talent evaluation in the portal is suspect after they brought us Speights and DB’s from Southeastern and Syracuse.

Dawg, it was Ga St. Of course we could get stops. A lot of the 3rd down stops were just mistakes and bad play on their part.

Grainger was 23/29 179 1TD Plus 9 carries for 32 yards

Carroll had 15 carries for 87 and 1TD

As a team they had 148 yards rushing and 217 passing...they had over 350 yards of offense on LSU. They were stopped a good but by SELF-INFLICTED mistakes.

App ST. held them to 260 total yards.
James Maddison held them to 228 total yards.
Troy held them to 298 total yards.
The Ragin' Cajuns held them a few yards less than LSU.

House and his defense is horrible. It's been horrible and will continue to be. We are 11 games into the season, this defense ain't changing. Hopefully Texas A&M make offensive mistakes on 3rd downs and punt us the ball because this defense can't stop any team with a pulse.

Lets see aaaaaahhhhhh Matt House? A lot of you here pounce like gazelles on House when you "precieve" he's done a poor job yet I only hear crickets when we shutout an opponent for 2 quarters.

Let’s see.. what opponents did we shut out for at least 2 quarters this year?
- Grambling
- Georgia State
- Army

Appalachian State and Troy also held Georgia State scoreless for 2+ consecutive quarters.

Alabama State held Grambling scoreless for 3 consecutive quarters.

Troy also shut out Army.

I don’t think it’s all on House, and I agree that the attrition has been brutal. But when you’re touting the fact that we held Georgia State scoreless for 2 quarters.. that might be a sign.

If he was actually involved in getting some of these players, yes.

He isn’t recruiting at a high level neither. Entire D staff needs to go.
