I know he was a heavily recruited HS player and played significantly last year but I didn't see much of him this year. Please explain his absence.

Injured the majority of the season and honestly got out played by donte jackson. Will be a starting corner next year.

Our secondary coach will have to teach KT2 to turn his head and find the ball

Id be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about #1 and #2 being our starting CBs next season.

Actually yes. Donte replaced Tolliver and was just as bad imo. They both struggle to locate the ball, which is kind of a bad trait for a defensive back.

DJ made significant progress from last year and he missed all of spring. Toliver played great as a freshman. So both guys have elite potential and have shown it. They just need to put it all together.

Plus we have some elite potential guys waiting to take their spot, like Fulton, Greedy, Xavier Lewis, Savion and incoming freshman like Vincent and maybe one more.

I bet Kevin Toliver would make a very very good FS.

But at the same time he was far better his freshman year , I think he's gonna be really good next year.

The best cbs in the nfl have trouble turning and finding the ball. Thats why they are taught to play the hands of the wr coming up to make a catch.

And even he got burned in the Arkansas game .
