What does George Floyd have to do with SEC baseball?

SECN baseball pre-game show puts on a memorial segment for one year since felon George Floyd died.
I get the message, but what does it have to do with an SEC Baseball tournament? I don’t watch ESPN very often, but is this normal propaganda?

Anything sports related on ESPN now has to involve some sort of political statement for the whole agenda. Pretty annoying, regardless of political views, as I like my sports not mixed in with politics

The pelicans played on TNT in prime time the day Chauvin was convicted and the entire pregame show was about the trial. Literally did not even talk about the upcoming game, which is the whole point of the show. It’s really wild that intertwining sports and politics has become so normalized.

Haven't watched ESPN for non-LSU things for years. Still subject to some of their agenda when I do.
