Simple fact of the matter is that you really won't earn the respect of many "Big time" programs until you beat them. Beating Michigan last year was a big deal (for which I thank your team), but that's not enough to get LSU fans to sweat. You won't have their respect(being in a lower division) till your team gets out on the field and proves they can play. Don't forget you guys already played LSU not too long ago and we all know how that ended.
Don't feel too bad though, the whole SEC won't respect my team till we finally show up and play in the BCS NC game

Not a damn thing.
I respect that program and have for years.
Used to live in NC and nearly went to App State before deciding on another small, southern school.

Our points per game average over the last 3 years have gone from 20's to 40's.
OUR Defense will be better, only AUG 30 will show that.

To be honest, I'm not down with Ohio State playing ANY lower division school. However, I'm not going to argue with the man who's led us to 3 BSC NC games, has beaten Michigan 6 of his 7 games and has won us the big10 four times (two being outright).
If he finds it acceptable to play Youngstown State, then so be it
