this. he's a football player, get over this 21 year old's decision to rock a stache.

Do you hate Freak's awesome beard? How about Brian Wilson's?

I would prefer a policy of no facial hair and all haircuts clipped short, yes. But my understanding is that even Bear Bryant relented on this policy when he realized how important it is to the players. However, the QB, more than any other position, is typically the face of the program and should appreciate that. Wasn't Cam Newton told not to get tattoos by the Panthers' owner? I think that corporate viewpoint by the QB should start in high school, but I realize I am likely in the far minority on that one.

I wouldn't get a tattoo nor sport a long beard but why should I impose that on others or think that is what is important for the right image?

Soldiers getting hair cut - less time spent on personal care, easy to do, one less item to snag on something, if hand-to-hand one less item to grab.

Chef/waiter/food handler - hair/dirt coming into contact with food

How does amount of hair inside a helmet hidden face affect and why does it matter to people?

I am all for personal hygiene but folks are nitpicking based on biases and not logic.

He'd be faster in the pocket if he shaved it off.

J/K. I think it's pretty cool. I think the stache is just to troll teams. Like, dude we got beat by a quarterback with a porn stache.
